Our Story
Since 2012, Anchor Health Capital (formerly Chestnut Funds) has invested in healthcare real estate through seven commingled funds, as well as direct and co‑investment opportunities.
Anchor Health Properties, a national healthcare real estate development, management, and investment firm founded in 1985, has long been a strategic partner. Its track record includes more than 4.5 million square feet of developed projects valued at over $2.2 billion and $3.2 billion in acquired healthcare properties.
In 2026, the two organizations came together to form a vertically integrated healthcare real estate platform—uniting fund management with development, acquisition, and operational capabilities. This integration positions the combined firm as a leading provider of healthcare real estate solutions for healthcare providers and investors.
Together, Anchor Health Capital’s investment capabilities and discretionary capital, paired with Anchor Health Properties’ national platform, enable us to execute efficiently across a broad range of healthcare real estate opportunities.
